I hiked partly back up the trail towards Monterosso to take this picture as the sun set in Vernazza. I was joined up there by a family who had brought a few big beers up with them, which they were good enough to share. It worked out pretty well for me.

This is another photo taken from the back of a water taxi in Venice, similar to the one you can see on the right named Jenny. The hotel I stayed at was just around the corner on the left. So we could sit in the bar and look out across the canal at the domed church on the right.

The caves in Phong Nha Ke Bang national park are amazing. I want to go back. At the right time of year you can hike through a cave and sleep in the entrance on a beach inside the cave while bats fly out at dusk.

You can see the Chateau d’Ansouis at the top of the hill in the background of this picture. Unfortunately, after driving there to visit it I found out the Chateau was closed for renovations.
