I thought this little baby penguin with a pink heart painted on his chest was fitting for today. He lives on Boulder’s Bay, in Simonstown, South Africa, along with a colony of African Penguins. They used to be called Jackass Penguins because of the noise they make.

No other penguins were marked like this, so I really have no idea why he’s got this little heart painted on him.

  4. Aww! He is so cute!

  5. I totally adore penguins. They are so funny and cute. Only last night we were watching (our recording from Monday) of the BBC’s new nature documentary programme on penguins in various areas around the world (Antarctic, Falkland Islands and Chile). They are quite varied in species but always fun and lovable to watch.

Check out my commentluv post of when I saw penguins in Melbourne quite recently.

P.S. Did you realise there is a typo in the title of this post? It says Peguin rather than Penguin.
